BARE RUMP

Premier Tribute To AC/DC

A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

ANGIE "ANGUS" SANDOW Lead Guitar

Co- founder Angie has been playing the role of "Angus" for 10+ years in BARE RUMP - the band that she founded with her hubby (and drummer) Lloyd.  If you haven't noticed, Angie was born with a congenital defect to her right forearm and as a result, uses a prosthetic to play guitar.  Angie's main objective with forming the band was to show others what one can accomplish - it is important that we don't judge people based on their looks but by their actions and character.  After performing as "Angus" all these years, Angie decided to focus her attention on singing.  As a result, she and Lloyd founded STONED M*F* PILOTS - Tribute To The Stone Temple Pilots - in January of 2010.  The timing could not have been better!  Stone Temple Pilots released a new album in May of 2010 and have been touring since 2008.  Angie will front the band with her performance as SCOTT WEILAND - although Scott is a one of a kind, Angie is hopeful that she will do him justice as she has done for "Angus".  Please follow STONED M*F* PILOTS at http://www.stonedpilots.com.

LLOYD "PHIL" WALSH Drums

Co-founder Lloyd started playing drums when he was 14, and has been playing off and on for approximately 15 years.  Influenced by Neil Peart and John Bonham, Lloyd developed a strong hard rocking double bass style, which he cultivated during the 80s while jamming with several musicians.  As the drummer for BARE RUMP, Lloyd performs with a scaled down 5 piece Ludwig kit with Sabian Cymbals  and is responsible for ensuring that the rhythm remains consistent.

NORMA "WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE" BON/BRIAN BETHELL Lead Vocals

Yes, a FEMALE lead singer!  And can this lady sing!  Normas love for AC/DC explodes every time she hits the stage, and her high voltage energy and powerful vocals are a perfect tribute to both Bon and Brian classics! Over the past several years, Norma has performed with a variety of cover bands singing everything from blues to rock and roll.  Her  strong vocal range allows her to master a variety of styles, however her true love has always been AC/DC.  Having two female frontmen, BARE RUMP provides what no other AC/DC Tribute has, in addition to a true Bon/Brian and Angus stage presence!

FRANC "MALCOLM" VIO Rhythm Guitar

Franc has been playing guitar for 20+ years and welcomes every opportunity to play with Bare Rump live!  Franc's blusey style and passion for performing contributes to Bare Rump's high energy.  Franc has performed with a variety of players in the past, and Bare Rump considers themselves fortunate to have him as a member of the band!  Franc also impersonates a sound man whenever we let him and does an AMAZING job!!  Hail Franc!!

TONY "CLIFF" CAPPELLO   Bass/Backing  Vocals

A lifelong Hamiltonian, Tony has been steadily gigging since his high school days. Ironically back then his greatest influences were the likes of AC/DC and other bands such as KISS, Alice Cooper and Supertramp. Over the years his musical tastes had varied, leading to his joining bands covering classic rock, new rock, country rock and R & B. He has played civic and corporate functions and has extensively covered the southern Ontario and U.S. club circuit. He’s opened up for recording artists including Long John Baldry, Teenage Head and David Wilcox and he has shared stages with Sass Jordan, and The Temptations. Now that he is the newest member of Bare Rump he hopes to give them that bottom end they so desire. We asked Tony what he had a passion for in life and he simply replied that there were two things…..’57 Chevy Bel Air’s and a great pair of legs, seeing as he’s a big Tina Turner fan (but he wouldn’t say which of the two he really preferred)
